Soap Making training

Over 140 women trained in soap making – The Soap Making Project trains women in the skill of making soap for there own needs and for the purpose of starting up a small business. It is a four day process. The women may choose to work independently or pool their resources as a small coop to begin their business. They can apply for financial assistance through small micro-loans for start up cost of supplies. They have one year to repay the loan without interest. The soap is sold in the market place in various villages.
